Hooptown Basketball Travel Teams

Hooptown was established in 1993 to assist in the development and success of student-athletes on and off the basketball court. The coaching philosophy focuses on teaching its players the significance of life skills such as leadership, communication, responsibility, teamwork and developing a strong work ethic.  Hooptown coaches are dedicated to the success of every individual player; however, the goal must be the success of the team not just individual accomplishments.

Hooptown focuses on academic achievement while teaching proper basketball fundamentals.  Hooptown competes in AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) sanctioned basketball tournaments across Southern California, NCAA Sanctioned Tournaments in Las Vegas, as well as elite showcase tournaments such as Pangos, BigFoot, and Double Pump Best of Summer Tournament.

Hooptown is fortunate to have developed student-athletes who have had the opportunity to play at the collegiate level. Hooptown student-athletes have played at the following Educational Institutions:
